Getting to Brest
Brest is served by Brest Bretagne Airport, which is located about 10 km from the city centre. You can reach Brest city centre by tramway, bus or taxi.
Brest Bretagne Airport Shuttle Bus & Tram to City Centre
The airport shuttle bus brings you to Porte de Guipavas where then you can then take the Tram (Line A) to city centre – Liberté station.
This route is serviced 12 to 24 times per day. Outside the hours of tram operating hours, the shuttle goes from the railway station. This service is available seven days a week all year round (except 1 May).
Journey time from city centre: 30 minutes.
Ticket is €1.60, this allows you to travel for one hour on any Bibus route (shuttle bus, tramway, bus). Bibus season tickets are accepted. Tickets can be bought on board from the driver or on the Bibus website.
From Paris city centre by train, Brest is 3 hours 25 minutes and less than 4 hours from Orly International Airport. Connections with Roissy CDG International Airport are also possible. Brest train station is located in the heart of the city, 500 m from the Freedom Square (Place de la Liberté), an ideal starting point to explore the city that is served by all public transport.

Getting to IFREMER Centre from Brest
IFREMER Centre is located in Plouzané. Please get the Tram (Line A) and get off at Porte de Plouzané. From there transport will be organised to IFREMER Centre between 8.30am to 9.30am for all conference attendees. At the end of each day return transport will be provided back to Porte de Plouzané.
