New production line of seaweed extracts targeting bio-stimulating solutions for agriculture March 8, 2019

GENIALG partner Algaia’s new head office location in Brittany benefits from an exceptional geographic location only 20 kilometres from the second largest brown seaweed field in Europe. Therefore, Algaia is able to process locally harvested fresh seaweeds and extract natural ingredients for the agrifood, cosmetic and nutraceutical industries. Algaia have also inaugurated its new production line of liquid extracts targeting bio-stimulating solutions for agriculture. “The transfer of our headquarters and the opening of this new production line mark a turning point in Algaia’s development”, stated Fabrice Bohin, Algaia CEO; “Our objective is clearly to unfold the whole potential of the brown seaweeds from the Mer d’Iroise, with the help of all the players in the seaweed sector and to develop tomorrow’s natural and eco-friendly solutions for manufacturers”.
