ALGAplus exhibit at Biofach 2019

One of the GENIALG partners ALGAplus products were exhibited at Biofach from 13^th-16^th February 2019 in Nuremberg, Germany. With over 50,000 trade visitors from 134 countries last year, Biofach is one of the most important exhibitions in the organic agri-food sector. ALGAplus products displayed included their dried seaweeds (Ulva rigida, Porphyra dioica, Gracilaria gracilis, Fucus vesiculosus and Palmaria palmata), canned sardines with seaweed and different seasonings with seaweed flakes were some of the products which aroused the audience’s curiosity.

ALGAplus produce customised seaweed and seaweed-based products mainly for the food and well-being markets. All seaweed production phases are carried out in-house: biomass production in a land-based modular IMTA system, processing (washing, drying, cutting, milling) and packaging.
