Fucoreverse wins Gold Award for LESSONIA at in-cosmetics global 2018 March 7, 2019

LESSONIA were very happy to have won Gold in the Green Ingredient Award at in-cosmetics global 2018 held on 17^th April 2018 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This award is given to an ingredient that makes a significant environmental and social difference in the area of sustainability. LESSONIA, a GENIALG partner, won the award for their ingredient, Fucoreverse, which is an anti-aging cosmetic active ingredient sourced from algae through the biorefinery process. Fucoreverse is a by-product from extraction of bioactive molecules, it would normally be discarded but instead LESSONIA have now discovered its potential uses in the cosmetic industry giving even more value to the algal biomass. The processing of Fucoreverse is also environmentally friendly with no need for solvents or other chemicals.
